THE RABBLE MUSICAT TEAM

Preston Austin

Platform Architect & Founder

Preston’s focus is creating network deliverable tools that extend specific human capabilities: easy creation of sharable media and collaborative, richly interactive use of diverse media to communicate, teach, entertain, and explain.

Chandra Miller Fienen

Strategist

Chandra has previously worked in a number of executive leadership roles, including as a founding member of StartingBlock Madison, an entrepreneurial hub for startups. She led its planning, building, and opening, and served as its Executive Director. She holds a J.D. from UC-Berkeley and a B.A. from Macalester College. Chandra loves to bake, and has recently put her love of bicycling to the test with a tandem bike trip to Nova Scotia with her husband. (In fact, when asked for comment at the time of this writing she said “Right now, headed up a BIG hill!”)

Glenn Loos-Austin

Lead Developer

Glenn, self-styled “Master of All Media”, likes to hang out at the places where user experience meets emerging technologies. In addition to knowing several programming languages, he knows the secret reason that all healthcare user interfaces are blue, why Checkbuttons should be more of a thing, and the arcane art of successfully using drag-and-drop on an iPhone. It will shock no one to learn that outside of work, he is an avid fan of Dungeons and Dragons.

Dolores “Jackie” Austin

Office Administrator

Jackie holds a B.A. and two M.A. degrees from UW-Madison, where she served on staff in academic program support, community outreach, and conference/event planning. Her first job was in the cataloging department of a small research library. From there, she went on to work as an entrepreneur and as a program coordinator in the nonprofit sector. Her experience includes organizational management, stakeholder engagement, customer relations, and communications. She encourages people to see how small steps and details relate to the big picture. Jackie firmly believes that everyone’s talents and contributions are important to building a better world.

Gao Youa Vang

Operations & Support Lead

Gao, an M.S. in Biotechnology graduate student at UW-Madison, works in the biotech industry as a training coordinator. At Rabble she covers support, operations, training, and APS. She’s early in her career in video production, mostly working on training videos. On her spare time she loves to go boating, work on her camper van conversion, and go off-roading in the Jeep.

Maria Khokhar

Senior Developer

Maria is a veteran of and volunteer for the Social Good Accelerator, a group that offers business technical assistance, leadership development, and support services for predominantly black, brown, indigenous, people of color, women, and other entrepreneurs. She also runs Voltage Volunteering, an online platform to help nonprofits and volunteers coordinate volunteer activity, and offers technical and advisory work for Pantry2Home, a group that helps local food pantries offer the option of online ordering. At Rabble, she works on the server and development operations necessary to keep all our partner collections up and spinning gracefully. Maria enjoys ultimate frisbee, tennis, climbing, and almost any form of outdoor activity.
